- Master’s in Public Policy and Governance
Public administration in war, post-war recovery, and reconstruction require new quality and stability of institutions, timely and effective decision-making, reasonableness and fairness of the proposed policies. Economic well-being, political stability, and social harmony in Ukraine depend on the ability of each participant in these processes to understand the complexity of the political environment, seek ethical solutions based on evidence, and coordinate and implement complex projects.
Master’s in Public Policy and Governance (MPPG) invites representatives of authorities and local self-government, public organizations, think tanks, and businesses who have ambitions to build Ukraine during and after the war’s end to shape the country’s future jointly.
MPPG provides all the necessary multidisciplinary competencies for establishing a high-quality policy cycle. Our professors have education from the best Western universities and have experience in public service at the highest levels. This allows them to apply and share up-to-date global experiences.
Students learn an academic approach to understanding and implementing policies emphasizing data analysis and European integration processes. MPPG provides the necessary professional competencies with maximum quality — from theories of political regimes, European integration, and analytical skills to research methods.
At the end of their studies, students work on and defend their thesis that meets the highest standards of academic research.
During four terms students study compulsory and elective courses, write a research paper, and formulate recommendations for a chosen area of public policy.
Our schedule allows for combining study with work. The classes occur on weekdays from 18:00 to 20:55 and on weekends from 10:00 to 12:55.
The maximum number of budget places available to entrants to the Master’s in Public Policy and Governance is 5 places.
